4/30/25: Eleven feltings from Wild and Precious, my exhibition at the University of Kentucky’s Albert B. Chandler Hospital, have joined the permanent collection of the UK Arts in HealthCare program. During my years navigating chronic illness, I saw firsthand how impactful hospital art can be. To know that my work will remain on view for patients, staff, and visitors—offering a moment of connection and beauty—is deeply meaningful.

4/2/25: Keffer Oak, a felting I created to celebrate the largest tree on the southern Appalachian Trail, has been selected for Resiliently Rooted at the University of Kentucky’s Bolivar Art Gallery. The exhibition reception will be on Thursday, April 17th at 4:30-7:00 pm—I’d love to see you there!

3/21/25: I’m delighted to share that I’ll be traveling to Shenandoah National Park this May to serve as an artist in residence! I can’t wait to get to know the Park beyond the Appalachian Trail and build a reference library of sketches, paintings, and photographs for new work. On May 10th, I’ll be leading a felting workshop for the public in conjunction with the Park’s Wildflower Weekend—if you’re in the area, please stop by!

3/19/25: The Cincinnati Woman’s Club, the oldest continuously operating women’s arts organization, has promoted me to a Signature Member. It’s an honor to receive this recognition from such a storied and supportive creative community.

2/12/25: One of my newest feltings, Persistence, has been selected into Fantastic Fibers 2025, the Yeiser Art Center’s international exhibition of contemporary fiber art. I’m thrilled to be included in this vibrant and innovative show.

1/3/25: Wild and Precious, my solo show with the UK Arts in HealthCare program, is now on view in the Chapel Gallery of the Albert B. Chandler Hospital. Installing a new exhibition is always exciting, but this one feels particularly special. Fine art was something I only found my way to because of chronic illness, and seeing my work in the hospital setting was a tremendously moving experience for me.
